Note: Dr. Diaz-Sanchez will paint a picture of the history of events that lead up to the creation of the LALACS House and talk in detail about the demands students made, and the processes they utilized to move their requests forward. Prof. Diaz-Sanchez will also provide us with a history of the different leaders, faculty members and campus groups that came together to help get us such a great resources for the Latina/o Community. She will also be discussing student organizing in the Latina/o Community at Dartmouth, how it came to be, what it was, during her time here as a student, as well as provide ideas and strategies to inspire further organizing to move our community forward.
