***Interested in helping the ’16s get connected to the community and to Dartmouth?***
***Want to give the 16’s a heads up on what to expect when they get on campus?***

Here’s what you have to do:

1) Answer these 3 simple questions and blitz them to:

a. Where are you from?

b. What specific nation, or geographic location, of origin do you identify with?

c. What is your field of interest? (major, hobbies, sports, etc.)

2) Attend ONE of the two brief Pre-Orientation Mentor Training Meeting

Sign up here (click on all possible times):

If you cannot make one of the trainings but are interested in the program, please contact me. If you have UGA training, DPP training, or have attended this training previously you may be exempt from this training. Please contact directly with this information.

This is a great, low pressure, and low time-commitment opportunity for you to mentor First-year students before they get to campus. As you may remember from the summer before coming to Dartmouth, First-years have lots of questions! In this training we will talk about mentorship techniques and cover some do’s and dont’s of mentoring and we will discuss the nature of the program.
After the training you will be given a set of students who will be your mentees and who may contact you with questions. Most of this Pre-Orientation mentoring will happen over email or on the phone depending on your preference and will be fairly informal. In order to become a mentor, you must participate in this training!
