Hispanic Teachers Needed!


The Washington Post reports a surge in the need for Hispanic teachers across the country. A collaborative effort by Teach for America and the Hispanic Scholarship fund is trying to increase the number of Hispanics going into teaching, especially in underprivileged areas where there are more Hispanic students. Still, this issue does not only exist in primary k-12 education. Hispanic professors are also needed in higher education, at places like Dartmouth. Having professors that share a similar heritage can be beneficial!
